Mo now 9 years old in 2013, still looking great!

MoMo was born on 5 October 2004 and is our much loved desexed neuter boy. We bought him from Maria Lister as a show neuter and he has had a very successful show career.

MoMo is a beautiful example of an old style black shaded Longhair Burmilla with a heavier coat. Although we and most of the Burmilla breeders have now moved on from the heavy Persian style, Momo has a beautiful laid back Burmilla nature - very affectionate and gentle.

He loves his cuddles and will frequenly roll onto his back for tummy rubs and is a great fetcher. He will not sleep anywhere but on my pillow. He is a great neck warmer for winter!

MoMo started his show career in 2005 and achieved Gold Double Grand Champion Status on 5 November 2006 at just over 2 years old.

In 2005 and 2006, MoMo won in excess of 60 Best of Breed titles including many top 5 placings.

In July 2006 at the CCCA National Cat show, Japanese judge Keiji Takano give him his "Judges's Choice" award. Then on July 30 2006, he was placed Best Neuter Cat of Group 3 in both rings in the Silver Persian Cat Club 2006 Cat Show. He also brought home that day the "Best Member Desexed Cat in Group 3" and "Best Desexed Pet Cat in Group 3" awards.

MoMo's mesmerising face also captured the hearts of Harpers Bazzar Magazine's stylists and crew. MoMo was on the front cover of Harpers Bazzars' A Fashionable Life Magazine (May 2007 edition).

Momo is now retired but he does go to a fews shows occassionally.
