Mimi was born on 11 May 2008 and is the daugther of our Silver Double Grand Champion Fuji.

This little stunner captured my heart at a very young age. I remember she used to play with my fingers when she was just 2 weeks old and was the smallest of the 3 sisters in the litter. I would deliberately feed her bottled mik between meals so she would grow faster. At week 5 she was the first to get onto solid food and her weight soared from then on and became the heaviest kitten in the litter.

Mimi now lives with Gemma and Simon just up the road. Gemma has decided to give showing a go so Mimi has been to 2 shows so far.

Mimi achieved fantastic results in both of these shows. At her first show - NSWCFA No Frills Show, Mimi won 2nd, 3rd and 4th placings against 20 desexed kittens when she was only 16 weeks old. This is very unusal as judges do not normally place young kittens in the top 5 unless they are of exceptional quality.

In Mimi's second show - The Blue Mountains Cat Show, she won two Best In Show titles and one 3rd which is fantastic considering she was up against several breeders owned show neuters. She was only just 6 months of age.

Mimi went to her last show in 2008 on 29 November 2008. In this show, she won 3 Best In show titles, one being Best Burmilla Desexed Kitten award.

In December 2008, Mimi was awarded Best Desexed Kitten of the Year (gp 3) by the Feline Association of NSW.

In her last show as a kitten on 1 February 2009 at the Federal Kitten Show, Mimi was awarded 2 Best in Show awards, Best Burmilla Spay Kitten and Best Burmilla Exhibit Overall.

Gemma and I have been very proud of Mimi's achievements to date and we hope that she will continue to do well as an adult in 2009.
